New LIRA 10.16 R2.0 version has been released
4/13/2026
Dear colleagues, we're informing about official release of a new SP LIRA 10.16.

SP LIRA 10.16 R2.0 is available for downloading in download section. Licence holders of SP LIRA 10.16 can update to 2.0 version for free.

Release 2.0 contains corrected detected errors and some changes and additions.

Graphics system and computational processor
  • Plasticity models for finite elements of inelastic links (FE types 257, 258, 294, and 297) have been expanded
  • Seismic Module 42 (USA, ASCE 7-22) has been updated
  • Seismic Module 52 (Turkey, TBEC-2018) has been updated
  • Damping consideration for geometrically nonlinear problems has been refined
  • Minor errors in importing the models from text files (*.txt) have been fixed
  • Saving of “DYNAMICS+” loading state parameters when project settings are changed has been implemented
  • The correct behavior of nonlinear hinges has been restored
  • The accelerogram and seismogram conversion utilities now allow selecting the abscissa for response spectra (period or frequency)
  • Incorrect behavior of the table of coefficients applied to material properties during assembly stages has been fixed when deleting a previously created group of coefficients
  • The loads of “By function on a group” type now support using node/element numbers as a variable
  • The “Effective Lengths” mode now supports viewing of effective length coefficients
  • The “Effective Lengths” mode now supports manual specification of the element type (beam or column)
  • Truss and beam types of finite elements have been accounted for in the calculation of effective lengths
  • The “DYNAMICS+” system has implemented the capability to assign dynamic loads to elements in design model
  • The “DYNAMICS+” system has implemented the loads on elements, including interactive loads caused by impact of a shock wave
  • Fluid elements have been accounted for in functioning of the “Thermal Conductivity” system
  • Visualization of diagrams in the deformed design model has been improved
  • A rare error in DCL calculation that include seismic loading states with the CQC rule for combining modal contributions has been fixed
  • The shock wave analysis (Module 26) now allows selecting the method for combining modal contributions (absolute sum, CQC rule, SRSS rule)
  • Sectorial stiffness has been added for the elements of elastic links (types 55 and 56)
  • The dynamic modules and the “DYNAMICS+” system now support consideration of mass eccentricities for the entire model
  • Stress calculations for nonlinear problems have been corrected in single-node and two-node elements in the “CROSS-SECTION” module
Import / Export
  • Export of FE-models to SAP2000 (*.s2k format) has been implemented
R/C
  • Transverse reinforcement calculation has been refined for Eurocode and DBN standards
  • Formation of the punching shear contour has been corrected for the cases when a pylon and column fall into the punching node simultaneously
MC
  • Definition of stiffness characteristics for Omega-profiles (LTSS) has been refined
  • Structural design calculation of 4-branch cross-sections has been implemented
  • Structural design calculations of nodes for grid structures composed of bent-welded box-type cross-sections and nodes with I-Beam chords have been implemented
  • For the calculation of angle sections according to Eurocode, an option to select the axes (principal or reference) for stability checks has been implemented
  • A new method for determining the effective lengths of frame columns has been implemented, taking into account axial internal forces in the elements adjacent to the column
  • Accounting for the spacing of transverse stiffening ribs in the assessment of local web stability has been refined for SNiP standards
Soil
  • The determination of the proportionality coefficient for clays and loams has been corrected
Other
  • Help system has been updated
