New LIRA 10.14 R3.4 version has been released

Dear colleagues, we're informing about official release of a new SP LIRA 10.14.

SP LIRA 10.14 R3.4 is available for downloading in download section. Licence holders of SP LIRA 10.14 can update to 3.4 version for free.


Release 3.4 contains corrected detected errors and some changes and additions.

Graphics system and computational processor
  • Capabilities in calculation of tilts and limit strains in floors caused by DCL have been extended
  • Rare error related to triangulation of architectural plates with holes has been fixed
  • Snow and wind load generators have been improved
  • Rare error in calculation of internal forces in equivalent plates has been fixed
  • Possibility to create the tables of nodal reactions by using LiraAPI has been added
  • Shock wave impact calculation has been refined and significantly accelerated (module 26)
  • Table of extreme stresses for the cross-sections made of unequal angles has been corrected
  • Generation of NCF and autoNCL by Eurocode 0 has been corrected for the cases when the coefficient of transition to normative loads is not equal to 1
  • Accounting of bar rigid inserts has been implemented during mesh coordination
R/C
  • Possibility to calculate R/C columns considering the principle of “Weak beam - strong column” has been restored for seismic combination calculations by Eurocode
  • Some difficulties related to the transfer of selected reinforcement to the initial data have been fixed
MC
  • Selection of three-branches cross-sections has been restored
  • Logic of automatic determination of C1 coefficient for flexural-torsional buckling mode analysis has been refined for the cross-sections in which local axes do not match the principal axes of inertia (Eurocode 3)
  • Corrosion accounting for bent channel bar cross-section has been restored
  • Calculation of boxes with rhombic-shaped orientation has been refined
  • Determination of the radius of inertia of equal angle has been corrected (local axes of cross-section match the principal axes of inertia)
  • Calculation of deflections for some rare situations has been restored
  • Logic of logging the errors and warnings has been changed: now all accrued errors will be displayed (previously only the errors that occurred in the checks with maximum utilization coefficient were logged)
  • Arror in determining the reduced area of the web for box-shaped cross-sections has been fixed
  • Determination of plastic behavior coefficients Cy, Cz for the boxes belonging to the 2-nd class of SSB has been corrected
  • Calculation of steel cross-sections by the standards of Eurocode 3 has been greatly accelerated
Soil
  • Rare error that could cause the program to freeze during the calculation of some shapes of slab foundations has been fixed
  • Possibility to take into account rocky soils when calculating the slab foundations by Eurocode has been implemented
  • Possibility to analyze the utilization coefficient by design soil resistance has been restored
  • Calculation of consolidation settlement for sandy soils has been canceled
  • Rare error resulting in change of pile length during FE-model generation has been fixed
  • Visualization of pile base elevations has been added on soil profiles
Import / Export
  • Made corrections to import from SAF format
  • Made some corrections to import from *.inp format
Other
  • Help system has been refined
