Determining the effective lengths of steel racks with undercoupling and implementation of this problem in the LIRA 10 software package

            Abstract: The article deals with the issue of determining the effective lengths of steel racks of working and attendant platforms for equipment in the partial absence of bracings between them. In the practice of designing industrial enterprises, such problems arise quite often, as bracings often interfere with the maintenance of equipment, the operation of intrashop transport, and the communication laying. Tables for solving this problem are offered, and the use of the "columns with undercoupling" utility of the Lira 10 software package for these aims is also highlighted.
