Smokestack Н = 100 m of coke battery #5, OJSC "ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih"

Analysis of reinforced concrete smokestack with a height of 101.5 m has been carried out for concurrent action of the following loads:
- Dead loads: weight of bearing reinforced concrete shells, weight of lining and thermal insulation;
- Wind loads (mutually exclusive with seismics);
- Seismic action (mutually exclusive with wind);
- Permissible tilt of the foundation;
- Thermal actions during smokestack's operation and maintenance. Uniform heating and thermal gradient for shaft and foundation are included here;
- Thermal actions caused by solar radiation. Uniform heating and thermal gradient are included here also.
