The 43rd regular CJSC «ASPO» International workshop was held in Saint Petersburg from the 27th till the 30th of May 2014. 61 people from 8 cities and 18 organizations of Russian Federation have taken part in workshop events. Plenary meeting and Round table were dedicated to problems of introduction and practical application of information technologies to engineering design of industrial and civil construction objects.
«ASPO» director Berezin Jacov Abramovich opened two-day workshop by sharing about problems in computer-aided design field. Developers of the most common software in Russia also have spoken. Roundtable discussion gave an opportunity for design engineers, that arrived to the workshop, to communicate. Delegates shared their own problems in design management field.
Workshop's schedule included demonstration of simulation software. The second day of the workshop started with «LIRA soft» chief expert Alexey Kolesnikov's speech on the following topic: «The new in SP LIRA 10.2: punching shear calculation, seismic actions, nonlinearity». Upon speech completion, many questions were asked, which were answered in detail by Alexey. In a latter half of a day, test-drive of new version of SP LIRA 10.2 was held within worksop. All workshop participants were given an opportunity to test SP LIRA by their own, as well as to consult a «LIRA soft» experts regarding new capabilities of the program. Evzerov Isaac Danilovich, Doctor of Technical Science, SP «LIRA», scientific coordinator of LIRA 10.x project, resumed the introduction to the tenth generation of SP LIRA with the speech on the following topic: «The new capabilities of SP LIRA 10.x computational processor».
On the workshop's closing day, developers of software for operational management of engineering company, as well as automation aids, workflow and electronic archives.
Traditional sightseeing part of the workshop with Timofey Zhivotovskiy was help in Dvortsovo - garden ensemble of the Pavlovsk town, where, despite unfavorable weather, it was managed to get a sight of architectural landmarks, alley of ancient trees and to catch a story about Pavlovsk palace creation.
