Basic Course for Beginners: “SP LIRA from Scratch”

The course “SP LIRA from Scratch” is organized for those who want to confidently start working in the field of design calculations.

After completing the course, you will be able to independently create calculation models and analyze calculation results in the LIRA software package.

Course language: Ukrainian.

Calculations are based on DBN/DSTU building codes.

Course format:

each participant will get an access to the FULL configuration license of SP LIRA for a month;
classes will be held online on the Zoom platform;
the course consists of 6 classes;
each class will last 2 hours;
during the classes, you can ask questions and, if necessary, share your screen;
every topic includes a task for independent practice;
completed tasks will be reviewed by the course tutor, then mistakes and comments will be discussed in the next session;
the number of participants per group is limited to 10;
all the participants will receive unlimited access to session recordings.

Minimum background knowledge:

basic computer skills in Windows OS;
fundamental knowledge of “Strength of Materials” and “Structural Mechanics”;
basic understanding of the Finite Element Method (FEM).

Upon successful completion of the course, all the participants will receive a corresponding certificate.
To receive the certificate, you must attend classes and complete individual tasks!
